Nature's Sunshine is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to oversee the Health Professional division for our organization. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving new health professional acquisition, achieving revenue targets, facilitating presentations, and finding innovative ways to gain market share in the health practitioner/professional space. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to develop sales and educational tools that will enhance the success of health professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate New Health Professional Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to identify and acquire new health professionals as clients. This includes prospecting, lead generation, networking, and building relationships within the health professional community.
  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
  • Facilitate Presentations: Conduct presentations to health professionals, both in-person and virtually, to showcase our products, services, and value proposition. Effectively communicate the benefits and advantages of partnering with our organization.
  • Cross-Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to develop and improve sales and educational tools tailored to health professionals. Provide feedback and insights from the field to assist in product development and market positioning.
  • Market Share Expansion: Identify new opportunities and strategies to increase market share in the health practitioner/professional space. Conduct market research, analyze competition, and develop innovative approaches to attract and retain health professionals.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including health professional organizations, influencers, and industry thought leaders. Leverage these relationships to enhance our brand visibility and credibility within the health professional community.
  • Sales Team Management: Lead and motivate a sales team focused on the health professional channel. Provide coaching, training, and support to maximize individual and team performance. Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress towards targets. Analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize sales performance and improve market penetration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • The successful candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in consumer product goods, pharmaceutical sales and/pr nutraceutical sales
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including knowledge of health professionals, medical practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a sales team towards achieving targets.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
